Employer sued for negligent hiring because they failed to background check a new employee.



In this week’s video we explore the case of the Flagship Hotel which failed to perform a pre employment background check on a bellman who proceeded to attempt to molest the child of a guest. The employer is now the defendant in a negligent hiring lawsuit which will likely result in a large settlement to say nothing of the damage to their reputation.
