WHAT IS IT REALLY LIKE TO WORK AT STARBUCKS-

CRAZY BARISTA STORIES:

So today i am going to be running through my top tips on how to get a job at Starbucks. If you want to get hired at Starbucks there are three main stages to go through: the application, the interview and the trial shift. I will summarise my tips for the application, interview and trial shift below

For the Starbucks application: show that you have the key attributes that Starbucks are looking for Starbucks are looking for. You can find these by looking on the Starbucks website so you know what to include in your Starbucks application. Make sure that you show times you have demonstrated these and do not just produce a list!!

For the Starbucks interview: Every Starbucks interview will be different, but if you search online you can find questions that are commonly asked at a Starbucks interview. Make sure that you have planned some answers so that you can effectively show why you are a perfect candidate for a role as a Starbucks barista.

For the Starbucks trial shift: BE YOURSELF!! Make sure that you are friendly, smiley and enthusiastic to learn. At a Starbucks trial shift they will not be expecting you to know absolutely everything, but make sure you come across with the characteristics Starbucks require, and make a good impression!

All the best of luck getting a job at Starbucks, if you have any questions or anything you’d like to say at all, drop me a comment and i will be sure to get back to you!!

  1. I applied online right now. After watching your video, I feel like I should have gotten an application in person. Should I call the store and confirm if they are hiring and putting name out there? Or wait for an email or phone call?

  2. I have a question, let’s say there are multiple stores around the city and one of them is closer/better than other, is there any chance that one can recommend themselves to join that particular store ? Or does Starbucks just put you wherever they want !”?

  3. Considering calling in to check on the status of the job. I just feel bad calling just to say who I am and if the job was filled. I just feel like they’re super busy and I wouldn’t want to bug them. Is calling in a week after you put in your application a good idea. Is it better if I do it in the morning so there not as busy?

  4. i called back a week after submitting an application and asked for a manager. she kind of sounded annoyed and like she only offered me an interview since I reached out, is that a good sign or should I try a different location?

  5. So, I applied. I called in to make sure they were hiring and they were which is great! The only question I have is, she asked me to come in and submit my resume to her. Does that mean Im being interviewed that day or just simply stopping by to give her my resume? Hope someone can help !

  6. i have my trial shift tomorrow! the manager didn’t want to interview me so i’m feeling pretty nervous ahhh

  7. What I have to say in store for barista? I applied so many times in starbucks coffee. It's all unsuccessful.

  8. I guess I'm in an odd situation- I had no prior existence before getting the job and my old manager said they'd teach me as I go however, now I have a new manager and I'm freaking out since it's my first shift this weekend and I'm worried they'll expect me to know everything- I was only taught how to make the cold drinks so im pretty anxious ;-;

  9. If they don’t call me within a couple days should I call them and ask if they’ve looked at my application?
