Applying for Social Security Disability is tough. At the time when you are feeling bad enough to be considered disabled, the agency seems to want to make the process as difficult as possible. If you want to make their job easier, I can help you with that.
Hi, I’m David Henson, managing partner with HensonFuerst Attorneys. We help people through the long and exhausting process of attaining Social Security Disability benefits everyday. Of the many things we’ve learned along the way, one lesson is clear: The SSA looks for reasons to reject your claim. Here are the top 5 things you can do to help SS shut you out.

1. Don’t get medical care for your conditions.

2. Do drugs or alcohol.

3.Break the law, or end up in jail.

4.Don’t keep your lawyer up-to-date on your situation.

5. Miss deadlines or appointments.

If you work hard all your life, and end up so injured or sick that you can no longer work, you may be eligible to receive Social Security Disability benefits. But just because you are eligible, that doesn’t mean you are entitled. There is a world of reasons why your case may be not be approved…don’t hand the courts a reason to deny your claim.
This is David Henson, with HensonFuerst Attorneys. For more information about how we can help you fight for your SSD benefits, visit our website at LAWMED.com/SocialSecurityDisability/. Or, call us at 1-800-4-LAWMED.

I fought hard for my disability pention. When a court awarded me an $80.000 debt for my life long horrific injuries , I was charged $38.000 by centerlink and denied my pention for a further 12 years. It took me 22 years to get centerlink in the supreme court where the case was withdrawn by my solicitor no doubt through centerlink threats to her. In June 2004 I had a ruling in my favour before member Alan in the administration appeals tribunal where after centerlink were ordered to pay the money back , a fraudulent letter of withdrawal was created and secretly submitted without my knowledge. The supreme court judge upon viewing my cace said , " this case raises many questions and serious concerns. Centerlink are criminals who prey on the most vunerable in our community. The worst criminals of all.everyone will be happy that after making a serious threat to centerlink staff in 2008 the police were not called , I wonder why and the next day I received a letter saying my new start appointment was cancled and a second letter stating my disability pention was reinstated no medical reports required.

What if your medical records are in Washington D.C. some where or New York why won't social security administration help find someone's medical records when it involves other states other then where you live I'm not trying to keep secrets I believe my United states government is trying to keep secrets about my health and injuries from the public and /or social security on purpose because some that was in a position of power caused some of my disabilities but not all

  7. Zina Shepherd says:

The social security administration is going along with and continuing to discriminate against American citizens right along with Washington D.C. and all their classified documents in Washington D.C.

  8. Roberta Gallant says:

Why doesn't SSI cover all of the daily needs? Welfare should now increase the amount of money in SSI.
No one must not continue living in poverty.

I've been putting off getting disability but I'm at the point it's not going to get better. I've got terminal bone cancer now to add to my other cancer and 7 autoimmune diseases. I've never been in trouble or done drugs or drink so I'm not worried about that.

  17. TheResistance says:

Obviously, I have a conundrum of sorts. I am on SSI, but to rent a house of my own would cost all of that money and I would have nothing left over for utilities or even things like toothpaste, and that would be if I wore torn rags most of the time as clothing. So how am I going to survive once my parents are gone? To be honest, I was forced onto welfare and thus forced to give up my financial rights like the right to be able to inherit money. So I see there are only two possible options and I may have to do both. One, I will have to apply for the adult child disability benefits again. Two, I will have to try to get my parents to talk to a lawyer about setting up a trust fund. Of course, it should be possible to go to the Supreme Court and have the law that takes away my human right to be able to inherit money struck down!

I understand medical records are 80 percent of your case. What if I can't afford to go. What about the pandemic?.
